Understanding your hosting dashboard: a quick tour

Once you sign in at cp.kinetic.cloud, your dashboard is the home base for everything hosting-related. Here’s what you’ll find.

Your websites

The main view lists every website on your account. Select a site to open its tools, or add a new one. Each site is isolated, with its own resources and settings.

Backups

Kinetic Cloud runs daily backups automatically. From the backups area you can view restore points and — on Plus, Max, and managed plans — restore with a click.

Domains & DNS

Manage the domains attached to your sites, edit DNS records, and enable DNSSEC. You can also add subdomains and domain aliases here.

Email

Create mailboxes on your own domain, set up forwarders, and manage email settings — all from the same panel.

SSL & security

See SSL status for each domain (free certificates are issued automatically), and manage security features like the firewall and site isolation.

Staging

Spin up a staging copy of your site to test updates, plugins, or design changes safely before pushing them live.

Developer tools

On plans that include them, you’ll find SSH access, a php.ini editor, Redis, and (on Max) Node.js.
